VACANCY FOR Level 2 Teaching Assistants

We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant.

The Opportunity

Build relationships with students and support them to thrive

Work in the classroom to support pupils in their learning

Participate in enrichment opportunities and the school’s approach to extending the boundaries of learning

Deliver small group interventions to a range of pupils

Join a small, friendly and dedicated team of staff, within a Trust with an inclusive vision

The ideal candidate

Be an experienced TA who is flexible and able to remain calm

Be able to inspire young people

Be enthusiastic and confident

Be creative and able to adapt work to meet a student’s needs, including having experience of delivering targeted interventions

Be caring, dedicated and resilient

Be able to work with pupils across Key Stages 2,3 and 4

Be familiar with and supportive of a therapeutic approach to behaviour

Be experienced in working with children who can present with detrimental behaviours

Be able to use his / her / their own initiative

Be prepared to get involved in every aspect of school life, including outdoor and active learning experiences

Have Grade 4 / C in GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Be keen to develop their professional knowledge and skills and be proactive in seeking out opportunities to do this

NeneGate School is a Special School for students with a primary Social, Emotional and Mental Health need. Many of our children have other additional needs.
