Vacancy for Level 2 Teaching Assistant (SEN Support)

Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 5, Points 5-7

Hours/Weeks: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We have an exciting vacancy for a passionate and creative Teaching Assistant - SEN Support, who thrives on helping students realise their potential at Sawtry Village Academy. Under the direction of the SENDCO, you will be supporting children with SEND needs both inside and outside of the classroom environment. This role will involve working closely with teachers to plan and prepare lessons to give pupils the best learning opportunities. You will support students in intervention classes, assisting them with accessing teaching and learning and work alongside teachers to adapt activities.

The position is to work on a permanent basis, working 39 weeks per year (term time plus training days), 32.5 hours per week. The pro-rata, actual salary, based on 32.5 hours will be Point 5 £19,299.61 - Point 7 £19,918.21 (FTE Point 5 £25,583 - FTE Point 7 £26,403).
