St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable teaching assistant to join our highly motivated team.

This is a 1 year fixed term vacancy for 24 hours per week term-time only (including INSET days) starting September 2025.

Hours: 24 hours per week

Salary: £20,000 - £24,999 per annum. Spinal Point 7

We are a one form entry Catholic primary school and the children are at the very centre of everything we do.   • Can establish positive relationships with pupils and empathise with their needs
  • Has experience of supporting children in a classroom environment
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Is expected to deliver intervention programmes to groups of children
