Job title:EYFS Teaching assistant (TA)

Salary: NJC D 3-4 paid pro-rata

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract type: Part-time, permanent

Reporting to: Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, EYFS Lead

Main purpose

The Teaching Assistant will:

Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils

Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion

Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
