Level 3 Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint an inspirational, dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team at Leverington Primary Academy.
We are looking for someone with recent, relevant classroom experience who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to children's learning to our happy and friendly school. The ideal candidate will have a range of recent, relevant experience of working across both KS1 and KS2. We are keen to find someone with experience of supporting children with additional needs, challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.
The right candidate will need to be adaptable, enthusiastic, highly-motivated and have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team to ensure high standards and outcomes for all pupils. They must demonstrate full commitment to the school, its vision and its aim to raise standards.
You will assist the class teacher in the delivery of high Quality First Teaching, as well as supporting children one-to-one in the classroom and at unstructured times as needed. There will also be some time working with individuals and small groups that require a highly differentiated curriculum and therapeutic strategies to access learning. This will mean working closely with our SENDCO and Pastoral Lead to review and adapt provision as needed.

- Excellent communication skills, including high levels of spoken and written Standard English.
