Join Our Team as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant!

We are excited to be recruiting two Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated and friendly team,. One on a full time basis at Hayway Rushden, and the second to cover Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays at our Wellingborough site. These roles are perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and committed to helping every pupil thrive.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with Class Teachers and Level 2 Teaching Assistants to:

  • Promote pupils’ engagement in all aspects of school life
  • Encourage independence and confidence in learning
  • Support the progress and achievement of all pupils

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have GCSE Grade 4-9 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Have experience supporting children with additional needs within a school setting
  • Understand special educational needs and can manage challenging behaviours
  • Have experience leading a group or class within a school environment

The first position is a permanent, part-time role, working 33.75 hours over 39 weeks per year, including training days, based at Hayway, Rushden site. (actual salary £20,390 - £20,715 based on 33.75 hours over 39 weeks per year)

The working pattern is as follows: (hours include a 30-minute unpaid lunch):

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:40am - 3:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8:40am - 5:00pm (staff training/updates: 3:30pm - 5:00pm)
  • Thursday: 8:40am - 4:00pm (staff class time: 3:30pm - 4:00pm)

The second position is a permanent, part-time role, working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday over 39 weeks per year, including training days, based at our Wellingborough site. (actual salary £12,385 - £12,582 based on 20.50 hours over 39 weeks per year)

The working pattern is as follows: (hours include a 30-minute unpaid lunch):

  • Monday, Wednesday: 8:40am - 3:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8:40am - 5:00pm (staff training/updates: 3:30pm - 5:00pm)

All applicants must be able to work from 8:40am until the end of the scheduled working day.

Please note: While you will be appointed to work at one site, there may be the requirement to amend your allocated site depending on the needs of the School. Travel between sites may be required on occasion.
