Level 3 Experienced Teaching - Assistant Grade B £28,598 - £34,434 pro 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only. Required from 5th January 2026
This is an exciting opportunity to join Bells Farm Primary School as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. You will be working in our lively, energetic and sometimes physically demanding Reception Class.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will need to be patient, hardworking, and have high expectations for both yourself and the pupils in your care. The role involves supporting teachers in day-to-day classroom practice and delivering targeted learning programmes for individuals and small groups. A strong commitment to the wider life of the school is essential, and we warmly encourage you to visit us for a school tour.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Has the ability to build strong, nurturing relationships with children
A proven record of effective behaviour management
Is a strong team player and enjoys working with others
Is flexible and adaptable, and ready for no two days being the same
Is caring and patient, with a good sense of humour
Has high expectations and a belief that all children can succeed
Has an understanding of SEN interventions and strategies to support pupils with additional needs.
Confidence using IT and educational technology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
