Level 3 Teaching Assistant job summary

Bishop Lonsdale CE Primary Academy (part of St Chad’s Academies Trust) is seeking to appoint a caring, dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will have experience working with primary-aged children, some experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) would be advantageous, and a strong understanding of how to support all pupils effectively within a primary school setting.

We are looking for someone with a proven ability to work collaboratively with pupils and staff to raise attainment, promote inclusion, and inspire a love of learning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective, child-centred strategies that consistently increase pupils’ engagement, confidence and enthusiasm for learning, be creative and motivated and flexible in their work.
