The Governors and Headteachers are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is able to work in the EYFS and KS1 Please state your strengths and experience. You will join our dedicated and innovative team, but have the ability work independently, support the learning of the whole class, small groups and individuals. You will have experience of working in an inclusive environment. This will include supervising children over lunchtime and some personal care.
The successful candidate will:
- Have NVQ/CACHE Diploma Level 3 or equivalent qualifications /experience.
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver in or out of class support to address the gaps in learning.
- Cover in the short-term absence of the teacher
- Be highly motivated and dedicated to making a significant contribution to school life.
- Develop positive working relationships with children, parents and staff.
- Be enthusiastic, a team player and able to work independently
- Passionate and committed to raising standards
- Flexible in order to achieve the best outcomes for all children
- Have high expectations of children’s leaning and behaviour
- Contribute to the ethos, values and aims of the school
- Comply with policies including those related to safeguarding, health and
- safety and data protection
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
- Be adaptable and prepared to work across the primary phase
