What skills and experience we're looking for

The post holder will be required to work as follows:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our committed and caring whole school team working in our Integrated Resource Unit. Children accessing the Integrated Resource spend time in the Integrated Resource and a portion of their time in the appropriate mainstream classroom.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and be an enthusiastic and committed person who understands the needs of children. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting and working with children with Social, Communication and Interaction needs – for example Autism. Importantly, they will also be someone who has the drive and enthusiasm to support our children to build happy and independent lives, ensuring that they fulfil their potential.
