What skills and experience we're looking for

Junction Farm is seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. We are seeking an energetic TA to become a valued member of our thriving school community and work in our Additional Resource Provision (ARP) for children with Communication and Interaction Needs. You will need to have patience and love in high quantities and be prepared to work as part of our dedicated SEND team and be prepared to undertake further training to ensure that we offer a first-class educational experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of pupils to help to shape and develop this provision, supporting teaching and learning and offering nurture provision to enable all pupils to participate in school life.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support and assist in small group settings supporting the teacher both within the ARP and supporting pupils to access mainstream classes where possible.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successfully supporting children in a primary setting, upholding a nurturing ethos and engaging effectively with children to secure progress of the whole child.
