Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Principal, staff and community of Buckton Fields to provide outstanding learning experiences as part of our team. The role will involve covering classes to support PPA cover, delivering some aspects of our curriculum and supporting class teachers. PPA time will be provided to support you to fulfil this role as well as planning and supoort from class teachers. Training will be provided for the successful candidate and a commitment to CPD. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who can add to our fun and dynamic team. Buckton Fields Primary School opened in 2021 and in September, we will have Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 and Year 4 children.

As a two-form entry school, the successful candidate will work in partnership with our team, Principal and Trust to provide outstanding learning experiences. Our staff well-being is extremely important to us and we offer a well-being package for our staff team. Every member of staff will have access to a team of in-house wellbeing experts offering a range of services including counselling, nurses and physiotherapists as well as a 24 hour, 365 days a year GP helpline.

As a new primary school, Buckton Fields provides state of the art facilities and the opportunity to be part of a very exciting journey from the outset.
