Salary: G8-12, £25,992 - £27.711 (FTE)- Actual salary: £22,257.42 - £23,729.43
37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
We are excited to offer an internal opportunity for a Level 4 Teaching Assistant to lead lessons in our CDT (Construction, Design & Technology) workshop.
As part of our ongoing curriculum review, we are looking to expand and enrich our Enterprise provision across the school. This role will play a key part in that development, providing students with practical, engaging learning experiences that link creativity, design, and enterprise skills.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about hands-on learning and who can take the lead in delivering structured, purposeful activities in the workshop environment.
Key Skills and Qualities:
- Strong practical and technical skills in areas such as woodwork, construction, design, or other workshop-based disciplines
- Creativity and innovation, with the ability to develop engaging projects
- Confidence in leading sessions and delivering structured lessons
- A passion for Enterprise education and the ability to link workshop activities to business or entrepreneurial outcomes
- Excellent organizational skills, including the management of tools, materials, and workshop safety
- Effective communication and teamwork, with a collaborative approach to working with teaching staff and supporting cross-curricular links
- Flexibility and adaptability, especially as the curriculum offer evolves
