Your Role as a Level 4 Teaching Assistant

As a TA Level 4, you will:

  • Deliver and plan engaging lessons, leading classes independently when needed.

  • Support and track pupil progress, particularly through targeted interventions.

  • Mentor and guide other TAs, sharing your knowledge and experience.

  • Collaborate with professionals such as speech and language or occupational therapists.

  • Contribute to SEND strategies and whole-school initiatives.

  • Use your understanding of pupil development to tailor teaching and learning approaches.

  • Embrace ICT and varied teaching styles to keep learners engaged.

  • Build meaningful relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
