Contract: Permanent, Part-time

Salary: ALT Grade F, Actual Salary £12,374.87 - £13,202.44 plus Retention payment

Hours: 19 hours a week, 39 weeks a year, Wednesday - Friday 8:40am - 3:30pm.

Closing Date: Monday 2nd March 2026.

Start Date: April 2026

We are seeking a dedicated Level 4 Teaching Assistant to play a key role in supporting learners across our school. In this dynamic position, you will help meet pupils' personal and learning needs by covering lessons, delivering small-group sessions, and supporting inclusion and outreach work. Using whole-school audits and pupil progress information, you'll tailor your approach to ensure every learner receives the guidance and support they need to thrive.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake specified work with individuals, groups and whole classes under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher
  • Plan, prepare and deliver specified learning activities to individuals, groups and/or classes
  • Modify and adapt activities as necessary according to the needs of the group or individuals and seeking help where needed
  • Use teaching and learning objectives to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons/work plans as appropriate within agreed systems of supervision and accountability
  • Provide specialist support e.g. SEN, EAL or in a particular learning area.
