We are seeking to appoint a Librarian to join our supportive and successful team. We are looking
for a passionate individual who believes that reading and literacy should be at the heart of every
school. 16 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum (term time only).
You will be responsible for the management and day to day running of the school library. The
role will include promoting the LRC and a love of reading to students and staff, managing the
reading and intervention programmes, controlling stock and making purchases in line with the
library budget, developing links with external library services and coordinating the Accelerated
Reader programme at KS3. Training and support will be given to develop you in this role.
