We are seeking a passionate and organised Librarian to manage and develop our newly renovated library. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting reading, supporting teaching and learning, and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for all students and staff.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:

  • A genuine passion for reading, literacy, and lifelong learning

  • Excellent organisational and cataloguing skills

  • Strong communication skills with students, staff, and visitors

  • A calm, approachable, and supportive manner

  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Confidence using library management systems and digital resources

  • Initiative and creativity in promoting reading and learning activities

  • A commitment to equality, inclusion, and safeguarding practices.
