We are seeking a passionate and organised Librarian to manage and develop our newly renovated library. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting reading, supporting teaching and learning, and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for all students and staff.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
A genuine passion for reading, literacy, and lifelong learning
Excellent organisational and cataloguing skills
Strong communication skills with students, staff, and visitors
A calm, approachable, and supportive manner
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Confidence using library management systems and digital resources
Initiative and creativity in promoting reading and learning activities
A commitment to equality, inclusion, and safeguarding practices.
