Librarian job summary
The successful applicant will be responsible for the continuing development of the library into a valued resource centre for all students and one which is integrated into the full spectrum of the life and work of the school. The library should aim to reflect the curriculum needs of the school and the librarian has an important role in supporting staff in curriculum development and students in independent learning. You will need to develop, organise and maintain a range of library resources and the delivery of library lessons for Key Stage 3 students.
