What skills and experience we're looking for

Westminster Academy has a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and dedicated Library Cover Supervisor to undertakesupervision for independent learning within the library. The post holder will also manage the administrative coordination ofdaily cover and staffing logistics during the day. Primary responsibility will be held to ensure teaching continuity, studentsafety, and effective communication with all school stakeholders.

The role is crucial for maintaining a positive, safe and productive environment within the library. Our ideal Library CoverSupervisor will be a highly organised, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and able to work underpressure to manage last-minute changes. If you are confident in managing student behaviour and excited to promotereading and library use, we would love to hear from you.

What we are looking for:

- Previous experience of working in a school or educational setting.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work effectively under pressure.

- Strong behaviour management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive and professional relationships withpupils, parents/carers and colleagues.
