Local Network Technician job summary

Our Multi Academy Company (MAC) was formed in September 2013 with just one secondary school and two primary schools. Over the past 10 years, we have grown to two secondary schools and six primary schools, educating over 3000 pupils aged 3-18 years. Our MAC footprint sits across the local authorities of Dudley, Sandwell, Birmingham and Walsall, all serving wonderfully diverse and vibrant communities.

Significant work has been done to create a strong and coherent MAC infrastructure and we are continuing to work in this area.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic ICT Technician to join our central team. You will join us under the guidance of the Local Network Manager and Central IT team to provide day to day support either onsite or remotely, ensuring that the ICT systems operate effectively to enhance pupil learning and staff efficiency.

As the Local Network Technician, you will have a local cluster of schools with a Local Network Manager, providing support and guidance where necessary. You will be based at Bishop Milner Catholic College and travel to schools within our MAC to provide onsite support as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, together with excellent technical and problem-solving skills.

We look forward to receiving your application
