St Martin’s School, part of the St Barnabas Multi-Academy Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Lower Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team for a period of maternity cover. This position is a part time role 3 days per week initially available until 31st August 2025 .

The Role

We are looking for a talented teacher to join our Lower KS2 team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students, fostering their curiosity and love for learning in line with BRING IT philosophy. You will be working alongside a committed Year 3/4 team to provide the very best outcomes for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum and the school’s vision.
  • Support the holistic development of each child, encouraging their academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Work collaboratively with the dedicated and supportive KS2 team.
  • Contribute to the vibrant life of the school, including extra-curricular opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders.

  • Has excellent classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching.
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust is made up of a group of 13 schools, of which St Martin's CE Primary School is one, who work closely together in order to ensure they provide the best education for pupils in the Liskeard Area.
