What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a committed individual who works well on their own as well as support teachers and supervise students whilst in the library ensuring that the environment is prepared and fit for purpose as a learning environment.
As an LRC Coordinator you will raise the profile of reading through the effective management of our Learning Resource Centre. Taking overall responsibility for the management, stocking and acquiring of resources.
You will work under the guidance of the Vice Principal. Ideally you must possess good communication and listening skills and ensure that respect and confidentiality is maintained at all timesThrough the successful management of the LRC, you will aim to support the school in raising the standards of student reading ability, through implementing reading plans, supporting the schools improvement plans and through implementing the schools LRC Policies.
