What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an organised and detail orientated individual to join the team at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form as a LRC Supervisor. The post holder will play a key role inproviding comprehensive and effective administrative support to our Sixth Form Team.

The working hours are up to 30 per week, as part of a job share, during the school term, and the working pattern is as followed:

Monday and Friday 08:00-4:30pm

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00am-1:00pm

You will also be paid for an additional 5 days per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours. Your actual salary will be £18,101.64 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month. You will work as a part of our friendly and dedicated Sixth Form Team to supervise students working in the LRC, oversee cover work/assessments, and monitor registers and attendance. The post holder is required to ensure that students behave appropriately whilst they undertake independent study, and monitor ICT equipment and refer to ICT support, where necessary.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual who has experience of the following:

  • Good standard of education including literacy and numeracy (Level 2 or equivalent standard)
  • Experience of working in an administrative role
  • Excellent ICT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc
  • Demonstrable experience of completing a wide range of administrative tasks with accuracy and speed.

About The Education Alliance

Multi-academy trust

The Education Alliance Multi-Academy Trust was established in 2015 so that South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College could support the setting up of Hunsley Primary School, the East Riding’s first Free School. In February 2016, Malet Lambert School, an 11-16 school in Hull, joined the trust and the following year, Driffield School and Sixth Form joined as a sponsored academy. The Snaith School, an 11-16 school joined us in April 2019 and North Cave CE Primary School in November 2019. Howden Junior School joined us October 2022 followed by Wilberfoss CE Primary School in May 2023. Howden CE Infant School joined us in September 2023 followed by Naburn CE Primary School who joined on 1 October as a sponsored academy.

In addition to the ten schools, the trust also operates Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training, the only Outstanding SCITT based in East Yorkshire, which is training a new generation of primary and secondary teachers in East Riding and Hull.
