Lunch Leader job summary

The successful candidate will:
  • Supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground and other school areas as required.

  • Promote positive behaviour and model respectful interactions at all times.

  • Encourage active and inclusive play, helping children develop social skills and resilience.

  • Respond calmly and appropriately to incidents, following the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.

  • Support the smooth running of lunchtime routines, including transitions back to class.

  • Communicate effectively with staff and children to ensure a happy, safe lunchtime environment.
