What skills and experience we're looking for

At St Mary of Charity Primary School, we believe that good quality play is an incredibly important element of a child's day. To support us in ensuring every child has a happy lunchtime, we seek an enthusiastic 'OPAL Leader'. OPAL stands for Outdoor Play and Learning and is a programme that ensures that every child is engaged in high quality play and learning lunchtime.

The key purpose of this role is to set up games and activities for children to join in with, but to also encourage more reluctant children to take part. The successful applicant would work with our team of OPAL Leaders and may be required to be flexible with their duties when necessary.

If you enjoy working with children, have a good sense of humour and communication skills, we welcome you to apply for this very satisfying role. Experience would be beneficial, but not essential.

The post is for 6.25 hrs per week, 5 days a week, term time only, 11.55 - 1.10pm.The salary is £12.18 per hour, £3,357 actual salary.
