At our School we aim to create and maintain a happy, welcoming, stimulating and secure environment for all of the children in our care where they can work hard and achieve their full potential. We believe that ‘Every Child Matters’ and pupils, staff, parents and local committee strive to ensure that this is a daily reality for all of our children.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible conscientious and ambitious Lunchtime Supervisor who has a passion for working in a school to join the school and join an expanding team to help develop and build a successful foundation.
The person will require lots of energy and enthusiasm, the ability to relate well to young children and work well in a team. Duties include supervision of children in dining areas.
You do not need to have any past experience but you do need to:
be someone who learns fast and is willing to take part in training
enjoy helping children play well together and enjoy the lunch time break
be flexible and show initiative
have high aspirations for children.
We are confident that your work with us will be rewarding and that you will find our staff team supportive.
Bramley Infant School is part of The Good Shepherd Trust Academy and has well-resourced classrooms and a supportive staff team.
The GST is a multi-academy trust serving 24 schools within the Diocese of Guildford across Surrey and Hampshire. Our trust comprises both primary and secondary schools, schools affiliated to the Church of England and others who are not. Our purpose is to grow and maintain a strong network of schools within a highly supportive and sharing network: we know that schools are better when they work together sharing common values and goals. Opportunities for staff development are a key priority for us - as a member of support staff, as a teacher, as a head teacher or as a local committee member you will have access to wide and varied professional development.
We are working hard to become a more diverse organisation - which is key to our commitment “to be better, together, to ensure an ambitious education for every child in every school every day”. We welcome applications from everyone committed to this ethos and would particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates, who are currently under-represented in the Group as a whole. We always appoint on merit. We are always open to discussing flexible working options.
Please note that we reserve the right to interview on application should a suitable candidate apply and we have the right to withdraw this advert prior to the closing date. You are therefore strongly encouraged to apply for the role as soon as possible.
Safeguarding Statement:
The Good Shepherd Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service Check

Headteachers' Welcome
A very warm welcome to Bramley Church of England (VA) Infant and Nursery School Website.
As a small church school our school vision "Rooted in Christian Values, Seek within, Wonder why, Reach out, Aim High" helps us recognise our Christian distinctiveness and permeates throughout all we do.
I am very proud and privileged to be the Head Teacher of this wonderful Infant and Nursery school. Village children and those from the surrounding area have been attending Bramley Infant School for over 150 years and we continue to foster a joy of learning which will last for a lifetime.
Bramley Church of England (VA) Infant and Nursery is a successful and popular school where everyone works hard to ensure that the children are safe, secure and part of a friendly and caring community. We want the children to be happy and excited about coming to school to learn and to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding across a wide and exciting curriculum. The vision and values of our school are embedded across our curriculum and they ensure we are able to inspire and challenge all the children.
Children can begin with us as soon as they turn two by joining our nursery. Children can attend the Nursery two morning sessions or up to five full days, the term after they turn 3 they can join our Pre-School and will be offered either a 15 or 30 hours funded place. Additional self-funded hours can also be booked. The Nursery and Pre-School are housed in the main building but are a separate department with their own age appropriate facilities and playground.
We have a strong, experienced and dedicated team who are passionate about working with children in order to help them achieve their best.
Our school is very much a family school and we are supported and championed by the wider community. The parents are an integral part of the school; we know that children achieve their best when school and families work effectively together.
The parents support us in many different ways including running the school PTFA, which enables us to buy extras for the school.
As a Church School we have strong links with Holy Trinity Church and hold service events at the church. Further information about the church can be found at:

We look forward to meeting you.
