  • Can establish a good rapport with the children in your care
  • Has the ability to organise activities and play games with children
  • Can listen and communicate effectively with children using clear English
  • Has the caring disposition and ability to tend to and comfort sick/hurt children
  • Be flexible, motivated and able to follow instructions and remain calm in difficult circumstances
  • As well as being professional, be friendly, patient and understanding towards the children
  • Can work constructively as part of a team
  • Can mediate and resolve disagreements between children
  • Be open to new ideas, have strong moral and ethical principles and values in line with our and the Trust’s Mission Statements
  • A great sense of humour
  • Has experience of working with and/or caring for children within an educational setting
  • Who has knowledge of an active preparation of playground learning materials
