Lunchtime Play Leader job summary

We are looking to recruit a Play Leader who will actively involve children in engaged play at lunchtimes.

Hours of work will be;

Monday - Friday 11:50am - 12:50pm, Wednesday - 11:50pm - 13:15pm

To commence in September 2026 on a fixed term basis to 16th July 2027 but with the potential to extend due to funding.

Spring Grove School is a multi-cultural school that lies at the heart of a supportive and diverse community in central Huddersfield. Our cleaning team is an important part of our school and we wish to appoint enthusiastic, motivated individuals who will be able to work to their own initiative whilst understanding and implementing COSHH

You will need to:

* Plan play activities

* Organise games appropriate for a variety of age groups

* Encouraging pupil participation during lunchtime play

* Have the ability to relate to children from diverse backgrounds

* Ben an excellent role model with a high expectations of behaviour
