Lunchtime Supervisor job summary
We are looking for someone who will:
- Have the ability to work with and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
- Provide support/supervision for pupils during lunch periods in the dining hall and for both inside and outside play to ensure a safe environment at all times.
- Support the Academy in ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils.
- Ensure all misbehaviour is reported using Academy procedures and that no misbehaviour goes unchallenged.
- Remain assertive whilst showing compassion and empathy.
- Be an enthusiastic team member.
- Deal with any injuries as they occur and report any issues to the relevant class teacher and SLT at the end of the lunch period.
You will have:
- A good standard of education.
- Good negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills with staff and pupils.
- The ability to relate well to children.
- Energy, drive and enthusiasm.
