Hours - 7.5 hours per week over 5 days a week

Newborough Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of Newborough. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. Newborough CofE Primary School is a welcoming, single-form entry school that has recently joined the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET). This partnership has opened up exciting opportunities for staff development and career progression through research-informed practice and extensive CPD programs.

We have an opportunity for a friendly, enthusiastic and professional Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic, approachable and friendly
  • Someone who will strive to make the lunchtime experience for our children as positive as possible by building good relationships and responding to playground issues fairly;
  • Someone who understands how to tackle challenging behaviour in children with respect and understanding, following the school’s Behaviour Policy;
  • An individual who has high expectations of healthy eating and table manners and supports the children to develop good eating habits;
  • A person who understands our children and our community and who is able to build supportive and respectful relationships with children whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school’s Code of Conduct;
  • An energetic individual who smiles often, engages with the children and models the values and ethos of our school at all times.
  • Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn
  • Ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently,
  • Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
