Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

  • Alston Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team. The candidate will need to have good communication skills, be enthusiastic and be a positive and flexible team member, working in an environment where everyone feels welcomed, safe, respected, included and valued. There will be a probationary period of 6 months.
    The post will include:
    supporting pupils during the lunch period with their lunches and promoting and supporting healthy lifestyles, tidying up afterwards.
    organising games and activities in line with the school’s policy for enrichment activities
    working as part of a team, forming positive relationships with adults and pupils
    supervising of children before and after their lunch and playground duty. You would be responsible for leading play activities.
  • A good standard of literacy is required. We can offer you a supportive working environment and full training will be given.
