About this Role
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and proactive Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team at Cockshut Hill School. You will help create a safe, positive, and happy environment for pupils during the lunchtime break, both in the dining areas and outside in the playground.
The hours are 10 per week from 12pm - 2pm, Monday - Friday and term time only. The working hours may need to be adjusted by the Principal and will be based on the school’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising learners in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during lunchtime.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and ensuring learners follow the school rules.
- Supporting young people to play safely, resolve minor disputes, and develop social skills.
- Assisting younger pupils with eating and clearing away meals.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming lunchtime environment.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has a friendly, approachable, and patient manner.
- Can work well as part of a team.
- Is reliable, punctual, and committed to the wellbeing of our learners.
- Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential - training will be provided.
