Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

Salary: Grade 2, Point 2 - £4,315 per annum
Hours: 1 hour 30 minutes per day (12:00-1:30pm), Monday-Friday, term time only

Edgar Stammers Primary Academy is a vibrant and welcoming school, proudly rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our supportive team. We are a child‑centred school committed to creating joyful, inclusive, and high‑quality play experiences for every pupil.

About the Role

As a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our children enjoy a safe, happy, and positive lunchtime experience. Duties include:

  • Supervising pupils during and after their midday meal
  • Supporting positive behaviour and wellbeing
  • Leading and encouraging active, fun play opportunities
  • Working flexibly across different areas of the school as required
  • Working collaboratively with our existing lunchtime team
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children
  • Can work effectively as part of a team
  • Is dependable, caring, and calm under pressure
  • Is willing to support play activities and engage with pupils positively
