Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

We are looking for someone who will join our team who will:

• Have the ability to work with and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
• Provide support/supervision for pupils during lunch periods both in and out of the provision or dining hall to ensure a safe environment at all times.
• Support the Academy in ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils.
• Be an enthusiastic and good team member
• Deal with any injuries as they occur and report any issues to the relevant class teacher at the end of the lunch break
• Encourage and support pupils during the lunch break to participate in organised games
• Have the skills to ensure that Lunchtimes are safe, healthy and fun

You will have:

• A Good standard of education especially in numeracy and literacy.
• Good negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills with staff and pupils.
• The ability to relate well to children.
• Energy, drive and enthusiasm.

As part of our team at Oyster Park Primary Academy, you will have access to a comprehensive package of wellbeing support designed exclusively for schools, providing access to a team of in-house wellbeing experts, counsellors, nurses and physiotherapists.
