Lunchtime Supervisor job summary
You will be friendly, enthusiastic and be able to build a rapport with pupils. You will be expected to be a good role model to our pupils working with them in a reliable, committed and dedicated way, showing a genuine interest in their continuing development and well-being.
You will work as part of a team to ensure that pupils have a safe and enjoyable lunchtime. Lunchtime supervisors may be responsible for supervising the pupils in the lunch hall and/or outside in the playground. T
Supervisors supports pupils in following routines around the school during lunchtime, as well as leading play as part of our OPAL play programme (training provided). In addition, the role includes supporting pupils in establishing and following school procedures and routines in the dining area and in the playground.

Monday – Friday, 11.30am – 1.00pm (7.5 hours per week), Term Time only
We are looking to appoint a person who:
- Supports our High Five Values
- Has previous experience of working with children (desirable)
- Has a cheerful, warm and welcoming personality with the ability to communicate with children and adults alike
- is reliable, efficient, and flexible
- is able to work as part of a team and is willing to learn
- speak fluent English as in accordance with part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016)
