We are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to join our highly ambitious team who truly are dedicated in making a real difference to the lives of children at this wonderful school. The Oaklands Primary School is a 2-form entry Primary school in Acock’s Green Birmingham. Our Ofsted report (March 2025) has identified many positives within our school including the school being “highly ambitious for all pupils to learn, experience, achieve and flourish”. The school provides an “exceptional education experience for all”, with an “aspirational curriculum” which is “meticulously planned and sequenced” and has “high expectations embedded across the curriculum”.

The successful candidate will be assisting with feeding at lunchtime in the canteen and supervising the playground to ensure a safe environment for the children.

The ideal candidates for this position will have:

  • Experience of working with children or have a desire to work with children in a play/school environment
  • Have experience of working within a team
  • a passion for supporting children and young people
  • good communication skills
  • enthusiasm, commitment, reliability and a willingness to learn.
