Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

Contracted hours: 5 hours per week

Working hours: Monday to Friday 12.00pm - 1.00pm

Weeks per year: Term Time only (39 working weeks, 44.6 paid weeks)

Salary: £13.31 per hour, £2,968.13 per annum (Actual)

We're looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team.

This is an important role within our school, helping to ensure that lunchtimes are safe, happy and enjoyable for all children. You'll supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and around the school site, encouraging positive behaviour, supporting children's wellbeing and helping them develop positive friendships through play.

You'll also work closely with our kitchen team to ensure lunchtime runs smoothly, provide first-line care and reassurance to children who are upset or injured, and consistently uphold our behaviour expectations with kindness and respect.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is calm, patient and approachable.
  • Can encourage good behaviour and positive play.
  • Works well as part of a team.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
