Maintenance Assistant job summary

Who are we?

Claycots School is a large, multi-site school which is judged Good by Ofsted. Currently we have 1700 pupils over two campuses in Slough making us a unique school to work in.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, pro-active and organised individual to support the Site Manager in the management, organisation and supervision of all matters relating to the school’s premises, including the maintenance, security and management of services on school sites. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Leadership Team in promoting a positive Health and Safety culture by ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. We welcome interest from individuals who are reliable, self-motivated and able to use their initiative. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in a trade, for example plumbing, carpentry etc., and knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and Possesses basic knowledge regarding soft facility management.
