MANAGEMENT & INFORMATION SERVICES (MIS) ASSISTANT
Part time - 20 hours per week, Term Time Only + 10 days
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with data and information systems?
We are seeking a motivated and reliable MIS Assistant to join the Management Information Systems (MIS) team at Franklin Sixth Form College. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the accurate management of student and college data, helping ensure the smooth operation of vital academic and administrative systems across the College.
The MIS department is responsible for the collection, analysis, reporting, and management of data to support college operations. Working as part of a collaborative team, the successful candidate will assist with maintaining accurate student records, enrolment information, timetabling support, and data quality processes to ensure compliance with funding and audit requirements.
The role involves a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and includes responsibilities such as:
- accurate and timely data entry into college systems
- maintaining and checking student and course records
- supporting enrolment, timetable, and programme administration
- assisting with data quality assurance and audit preparation
- liaising with curriculum, examinations, enrolment, and college services teams
- maintaining auditable records and supporting information governance processes
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the College. Experience of working with databases or management information systems would be advantageous
Salary for the post will be on the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Scale - Pay Spine Point NJC 6 to NJC 8, currently £25,558 to £26,343 FTE (£12,367.26 to £12,747.11 per annum).
