Unity Education Trust are recruiting for a Maternity Cover Teacher to join our education team at Highgate Infant school to start September 2026.

If you are passionate about providing the best learning opportunities to every learner and like working as part of a dedicated and happy team, then Highgate Infant Academy could be the school for you! Located in a beautiful Victorian building in Kings Lynn, Highgate Infant Academy is a small but thriving school community that has good links with the Unity Education Trust family of schools. We currently have 62 pupils on roll, taught in three classes, each with a teacher and a strong support staff team.
This post will involve you teaching 2 days a week in Year 1 and 1 day a week in Reception. The post will involve teaching and day to day planning and preparation. Planning and PPA time will be shared with the substantive post holders and the division of this will be flexible, in response to the shared nature of the role.

Has a good understanding of the unique needs of young children in Reception and Key Stage One
