Mathematics Teacher job summary
We are looking for a Maths teacher who shares that vision and can relate Maths to real-life experiences.
This is more than a teaching role. It’s an opportunity to bring your subject expertise and your humanity into a setting where relationships matter as much as results. We need someone who is:
Emotionally intelligent, aware and able to understand the impact of previous educational gaps and traumas, which affect behaviour, engagement and learning
Skilled at building trust and creating calm and structured classroom where students feel safe to learn
Resilient, reflective, and committed to meeting individual needs with creativity and compassion Essential skills and experience:
QTS/PGCE (or willingness to work towards this)
This role requires Maths knowledge from KS1-4
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Experience working with SEND learners, particularly in SEMH contexts
Experience and confidence in de-escalation techniques
Pastoral experience
