We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our brilliant team at New Rickstones Academy. Whether you're just starting your career or bringing years of experience, we're ready to support and challenge you to be the very best you can be.
You'll teach Mathematics across key stages, inspiring pupils to see the subject not just as a curriculum requirement, but as a powerful tool for understanding the world around them. With a strong curriculum and excellent resources already in place, you'll have the space and support to bring learning to life - and the freedom to innovate, stretch and challenge every pupil.
New Rickstones Academy is graded 'Good' (November 2023) and has a state-of-the-art building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 8 years, the school has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The school is a popular choice in the local area, is oversubscribed, and has added another new building to meet this demand.
New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive team. Staff numbers have also increased, and the school is proud to boast high retention rates. Development is a priority with an extensive and successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programme to further develop our excellent staff.

Staff development is a priority with an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program to further develop our excellent staff.
