Maths Intervention Teacher job summary
We're looking for a passionate, driven Maths Intervention Teacher to make a real difference to the students who need it most. If you thrive on those breakthrough moments — when a concept finally clicks — then this is the role for you.
The suitable canddiate will be using targeted meaningful teaching with measurable impact.
The role
Working with small groups and individuals across Key Stages 3-4, you'll design and deliver targeted intervention programmes that close gaps, build confidence, and get results.
✓ Deliver bespoke maths intervention sessions to students working below expected levels
✓ Assess, track and report on pupil progress
✓ Collaborate with class teachers to align strategies
✓ Build the kind of relationships that make students actually want to engage
✓ Use data to adapt your approach — and celebrate every win, big or small
What we're looking for
✓ - QTS with a strong maths subject knowledge;
✓ - Experience working with students who have fallen behind — and getting them back on track
✓ - Resilience, creativity, and a genuine belief that every student can succeed
We are able to offer this role on either a self employed basis or contracted .

The school is situated to the West of London with good rail and road access. Our location means our staff enjoy living in areas such as West and South West London, Surrey and Berkshire making fantastic choices for city, suburban or rural living available.
