Post: Maths Key Stage 3 Co-ordinator
Responsible to: Head of Maths
Salary: Main or Upper Pay Scale dependent on experience plus TLR 2a

This is an excellent opportunity to join our successful Maths Faculty, which is large and dynamic with a real commitment to team work. We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to lead the development of the Key Stage 3 curriculum and ensure that all pupils make at least expected progress. This is a great opportunity for any maths teachers looking for their first step into leadership and management, so applications from strong early career teachers are encouraged. The successful applicant will be supported by the experienced and accomplished Head of Maths, and their will be many chances to develop your skills with additional CPD.
Applicants will need to have the ability to teach both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and there may also be opportunities, for the right candidate, to teach Key Stage 5.
We are a growing, successful and oversubscribed school, striving for Outstanding. We recently become an all-through school, the first in Cambridgeshire, and have pupils from age 4 – 18. The addition of our primary phase, over the coming years, will also provide lots of additional opportunities for staff to work in the primary phase as well as the secondary and Post-16.
Pupils at Cromwell Community College enjoy their maths lessons, and the department is committed to enriching the maths curriculum for our pupils, via excellent links with the Cambridge Maths Hub and our local Advanced Mathematics Support Programme group. The Maths Department has also undergone extensive refurbishment with state-of-the-art learning walls and Promethean boards installed to enhance learning opportunities.
