What skills and experience we're looking for
Slough and Eton is looking for a great teacher to join our Maths department in April or September. We have a great mix of experienced and recently qualified or training staff in the team. Maths is a very successful and popular subject at Key Stage 4 and 5.
The department is in a dedicated Maths area and benefits from access to the latest Clevertouch interactive technology. The new member of this team needs to be a qualified Maths teacher with a love of the subject. If that is you then you will need to be hardworking, dedicated to ensuring students of all abilities can succeed and, crucially, a great classroom teacher. Previous experience of examination teaching at either KS4 or 5 is essential although there is no requirement to have taught post-16 previously. ECTs are encouraged to apply as this is a great team to develop your teaching skills with.

For ECTs interested in applying we are delivering the Early Career Framework in partnership with the Ambition Institute as their coaching model complements well the established coaching practices we have in the school for all teaching staff.
