About the Role

As a Teacher of Maths at the UCS, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire students to achieve excellence. You will work closely with the Head of Maths and department colleagues to develop a curriculum that challenges and prepares pupils for their next steps, from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational or linguistic needs.
  • Using assessment data effectively to monitor progress and set ambitious targets.
  • Supporting pupils to become independent learners who are motivated to extend their skills beyond the classroom.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to school improvement.
