Bideford College are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students, offering a personalised programme of study; monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/tutor and facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

This is a permanent position with either an April or September start. Please indicate on your application when you are available to commence employment.

Essential qualifications

Formal teaching qualification (QTS)

Essential skills and experience

Experience of teaching Maths in a secondary setting.
Teaching the full range of ability at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
Confidence in using a variety of IT and good IT skills
Able to pick up new procedures and routines quickly
Effective and efficient administrative skills
An ability to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the College
