We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative Teacher of Mathematics. The post is for an excellent teacher who is able to enthuse both students and colleagues with their love for mathematics. We are looking for a person who is hard-working and believes that mathematics is a learned occupation in that all students can achieve and excel irrespective of starting points. If appointed, you will be joining a supportive, functional unit of dedicated, committed teachers who work tirelessly to improve the life chances of young people in our care. We are focused on delivering curriculums across the key stages that reflect the knowledge and skills needed by our students at each stage of their academic development and by the end of their time at our school. There is a buzz of enthusiasm throughout the faculty and a real sense of camaraderie as we navigate our course through the next stage of our journey. Staff are extremely positive about the school and the Faculty and go the extra mile to teach great lessons and build positive relationships with the students they teach.
The school celebrates a really positive and supportive relationship between managers and staff, between colleagues, and between staff and pupils. Excellent support is in place for our NQTs and there are good opportunities for career progression.
GCA has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and has safer recruitment procedures in place for the selection of staff. It is committed to the principle of equal opportunities; we welcome all applicants and value the diversity they bring.
