September 2026 start

We are looking to recruit an inspirational and enthusiastic Maths teacher who wants to be part of a highly successful, collaborative and supportive team. This position has become available due to increasing student numbers, leading to the school being oversubscribed for the last 3 years.

This is an exciting, and rare, opportunity to join our exceptionally high performing department. Our GCSE outcomes have consistently had progress measures in the top 5% of all schools nationally. For the last progress measure in 2023 the GCSE Maths progress 8 was +0.84, significantly above the national average. In 2025 29% of students achieved a grade 7+ (significantly plus), 73% of students achieved a grade 5+ (significantly plus) and 85% of students achieved a grade 4+ (significantly plus). Uptake to GCE A level is strong in Maths, being regularly one of the most popular subjects in school and Further Maths is delivered to our most able Mathematicians. We are keen to recruit a strong team player with the ability to teach and / or develop their teaching across all key stages.

The school offers all employees training and support, peer mentoring, personal development (middle leadership / lead practitioner training where appropriate) and the chance to develop skills further by supporting extra-curricular activities.

This post is suitable for either an existing teacher or ECT.
