Mayflower Lead (Internal Alternative Provision) job summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and dedicated individual to become our Mayflower Lead and coordinate the running of the Alternative Provision Base. The successful candidate will work closely with the Inclusion Team to support young people working within the AP Base, including students who may have challenging behaviour and complex needs.
The Mayflower Lead will work closing with the SENDCo to support pupils' progress and achievement and link with external professionals and agencies as appropriate.
We are looking for;
- Significant experience of working with children
- Experience of dealing with a range of student behaviours
- Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with staff, parents, outside agencies and be able to foster good relationships and gain the confidence of young people.
- Ability to remain calm and measured in challenging situations.
This role is full-time, term time - 37 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum. Actual salary £24,917.88 - £27,053.11.
